Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Exciting opportunities are available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to serve K-12 students during the 2024-2025 school year in Schurz, NV, and surrounding areas including Fernley, Yerington, and Silver Springs. These contract openings offer a full semester commitment with 35-38 hours per week and the chance to work across elementary, middle, and high school settings.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students with diverse needs across various age groups.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to create tailored therapy plans.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation following regulatory and district guidelines.
- Provide teletherapy services when applicable.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-SLP) or currently in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Experience in healthcare, pediatrics, or school-based SLP settings preferred.
- Completion of CFY for Clinical Fellows.
- Licensure and credentials appropriate to Nevada.
- Flexibility to choose preferred caseload ages according to interest and expertise.
