Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A comprehensive opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a school setting located in Uniontown, PA. This contract position offers the chance to work during the current school year and the first semester of the next school year, providing essential speech and language services to diverse student populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings for students K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning.
Qualifications:
- Valid and active SLP certification/license.
- Experience working with school-aged children, K-12 caseload preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
