Experienced Commercial Carpenter

We are an established commercial construction company specializing in office renovations, interior build-outs, and new construction, and we are looking for an experienced, dependable Commercial Carpenter to join our team.

We take pride in delivering quality work and are looking for someone who shares that same standard. While residential construction experience is valuable, this position requires previous interior commercial construction experience, including hands-on experience with metal stud framing, cabinet installation, and ACT ceilings, and finish carpentry.

What You'll Be Doing

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches and accurately lay out work

• Perform metal stud framing for commercial interior construction

• Install cabinets, doors, frames, hardware, trim, and other finish carpentry

• Install ACT ceiling systems and safely work on stilts when required

• Construct and install window frames, doors, staircases, and related components

• Complete drywall finishing and other general carpentry tasks as needed

• Work collaboratively with project managers, supervisors, and other trades to keep projects moving efficiently

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Deliver quality workmanship while meeting project schedules

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of metal stud framing experience

• Previous experience in commercial interior construction

• Strong finish carpentry and cabinet installation skills

• Experience installing ACT ceilings

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings

• Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and measuring equipment

• Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and installation techniques

• Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position

• Reliable transportation to and from job sites

Schedule & Reliability

This is a Monday through Friday position, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Our crews and project schedules depend on everyone being there and ready to work, so dependable attendance and punctuality are essential requirements of this position.
