Warehouse and Yard Worker - Now Hiring

Position: Yard/Warehouse Associate – Columbus, Ohio

We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Yard/Warehouse Associate to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. In this position, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading trucks, pulling orders, and staging deliveries, both indoors and outdoors. If you are looking for a physically engaging role with opportunities for growth, this is the position for you. We offer comprehensive training for candidates who may not have prior forklift experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Loading and Unloading Trucks: Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks using forklifts.
• Order Fulfillment: Pull orders and stage them for next-day delivery.
• Outdoor and Indoor Work: Perform duties both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Assisting with Deliveries: Occasionally assist drivers with deliveries.
• Physical Lifting: Regularly lift materials weighing up to 90 lbs, with occasional lifting of 100+ lbs.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00/4:30 PM
• Saturdays (during peak season, April - October): 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $19.00 per hour
• Overtime: Time and a half for hours worked over 40 per week
• Weekly Pay

Qualifications:

• Reliability: Strong work ethic and dependability.
• Comfortable Working Outdoors: Ability to perform duties in all weather conditions.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to regularly lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Valid Driver’s License: A clean driving record is preferred for occasional delivery duties.
