Position: Contract (1099) Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

Location: Bay City MI

About Us: We are a team of dedicated professionals with a mission: to give our veterans the care and respect they deserve. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will be performing military disability, compensation and pension exams for our military heroes in a shared office space or clinic (provided by us!)

Responsibilities:

• Greet our heroes with a smile that could light up the deepest jungle.
• Perform focused exams for veteran disability claims with a side of wit and charm.
• Review and document medical findings with accuracy and a touch of flair.
• Collaborate with our researchers to ensure accurate medical history.
• Provide independent medical opinions based on the veteran's heroic service history.
• Translate medical terminology into a language even your grandma's parrot could understand (bonus points if you can teach us how to squawk it).
• Keep a straight face when veterans inevitably challenge you to survival skill contests (extra points if you let them win).

Qualifications:

• • Valid Michigan Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license
  • Experience in General Medicine. Qualifying experience includes Primary Care, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Physical Medicine + Rehab, and/or Acute Care.
  • Have a clean malpractice history.
  • Proficient in gen med, neuro, cardiopulmonology, and musculoskeletal exams
  • Reside in or near Bay City, MI
