Stand Up Forklift Operator

Volt is immediately hiring Stand up Forklift  - Material Handlers for a global manufacturing company on the west side of El Paso, Tx. 

 

As a Stand Up Forklift - Material Handler you will:

• Perform a variety of warehouse and material handing functions
• Load, unload and stage products and materials using a stand up forklift
• Prepare products for shipment
• Check orders for accuracy
• Follow safety rules and adhere to good housekeeping requirements

This is a full time opportunity.

 

1st Shift:  6 AM to 2:30 PM

2nd Shift: 3 PM to 11:30 PM

 

 

The ideal candidate will have:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-3 years previous Material Handling and Stand Up Forklift experience
• Sit down and / or Sit down Forklift experience is required
• Ability to lift and carry product up to 40 pounds
• Read, count and perform basic math functions
• Team oriented, safety minded and motivated

 

Pay Rate: $15.00 to $16.25 per hour

 

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
