Job Title: Locum - Physician - Interventional Cardiology

Our facility in Nampa, Idaho, is looking for two skilled Interventional Cardiologists to provide exceptional care at our trauma level II campus. The practice focuses on inpatient care, with a patient volume of approximately three consults and two procedures per day. The facility boasts 18 ICU beds, 18 telemetry beds, and 10 cardiac monitoring unit beds. You will be supported by a dedicated team of Advanced Practice Providers during the week, making this an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking a collaborative environment in a vibrant community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 24-hour hospital call coverage
• Perform interventional cardiology procedures, including TEE's, balloon pumps, coronary stents, IVUs, and IFR
• Consult on inpatient cardiac cases and manage STEMI activations
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient care
• Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and care

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology (REQUIRED)
• Active Idaho medical license or active Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) certification (REQUIRED)
• Clean malpractice history with no background issues (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
• Local candidates preferred for convenience, as no flights are necessary (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
• Must comply with the permanent rate cap of $25K (REQUIRED)
• COVID-19 vaccination required for employment at this facility (REQUIRED)

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current and valid medical licenses
• DEA registration
• Board Certification in relevant specialty
• Life support certifications, including BLS
