Neurologist - Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Evaluations
Location: Del Mar, South Bay, Chula Vista, and Orange County, CA
Job Type: Part-Time
Expected Hours: 7 - 30 hours/week
Schedule: Monday to Friday - Flexible days based on your availability
We are seeking a Board-Certified Neurologist with experience in Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) evaluations to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will conduct thorough neurological assessments, review medical records, and recommend individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from accidents.
The role includes some travel between our clinic locations in Del Mar, South Bay, Chula Vista, and Orange County. We provide full administrative support, exam rooms, and clinical staff, so you can focus on patient care.
This is an ideal opportunity for neurologists looking for a flexible, low-overhead practice model with opportunities for med-legal consulting and Botox/nerve block treatments for post-traumatic migraines.
ResponsibilitiesPerform in-person and telemedicine neurological evaluations for TBI and other post-trauma conditions
Review patient medical records prior to initial assessments
Diagnose and treat a range of neurological disorders related to personal injury
Order and interpret diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT, EEG, etc.)
Develop and monitor treatment plans tailored to individual recovery needs
Prescribe medications and document therapeutic effectiveness
Provide Botox or occipital nerve block injections (if applicable)
Collaborate with legal teams when required for medical-legal documentation
Work across multiple locations as scheduled
Board Certification in Neurology
Active California Medical License in Good Standing (Required)
Strong background in TBI, concussion, and post-accident neurological care
Willingness to travel to Del Mar, South Bay, Chula Vista, and Orange County locations
Botox injection experience preferred but not required
Familiarity with med-legal reporting and documentation is a plus
Excellent communication and organizational skills
