Cardiology - Electrophysiology Physician - Now Hiring

Premier Physician Services is seeking a Cardiology Electrophysiologist to work with for our client facility located in Detroit, MI.

About the Role:
In this role you will deliver high-quality EP care across metro Detroit, Michigan, with leadership responsibilities and access to advanced technology, teaching opportunities, and strong multidisciplinary collaboration.

Description:

• Provide outpatient and inpatient cardiac electrophysiology services.
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m., with shared call coverage (2:1 ratio) with another EP physician
• Travel between multiple practice locations as needed
• Perform procedures including pacemaker and defibrillator implants, as well as right- and left-sided ablations
• Participate in inpatient rounding during call weeks at multiple hospitals; APP assists with independent rounding
• Build and manage a patient panel with strong internal referral streams and existing volume
• Collaborate with an experienced EP cardiologist, APRN, cardiovascular thoracic surgeons, and a skilled support team
• Join a teaching hospital with over 200 residents and 30 fellows, with opportunities to engage in education and mentoring
• Contribute to high-acuity patient care in a Level I Trauma Center with advanced cardiac, stroke, and neuro-endovascular program
• Use Cerner EMR system (transitioning to Epic in late 2025 early 2026)
• No visa sponsorship
• No 1099 arrangements

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology - REQUIRED
• Completion of accredited Cardiology and Electrophysiology Fellowships - REQUIRED
• Minimum 2 3 years of post-fellowship experience - P referred
• Must hold or be eligible for a Michigan Medical License - REQUIRED
• Must hold BLS, ACLS, PALS, and DEA - REQUIRED
• Must have a clean malpractice and licensure history - REQUIRED
• No candidates with second jobs or long commutes (1+ hour) - REQUIRED
