As the Peer Advocate, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:
- Obtain and retain knowledge of alcohol and substance abuse, trauma informed care, family systems and recovery community.
- Have the ability to provide awareness, resources, and support to individuals in recovery.
- Engage and empower individuals to obtain and maintain sobriety.
- Refer and help individuals and families navigate treatment options and other community resources.
- Provide substance abuse intervention services utilizing evidence-based practices and programs.
- Arrange schedule and conduct peer support recovery meetings/groups.
Peer Advocate Minimum Salary: $16.50 / Hour
Peer Advocate Maximum Salary: $17.00 / Hour
Peer Advocate Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 9AM - 4:30PM; Wednesday & Friday 9AM - 7:30PM
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
