Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Engineering Project Manager to partner with our Director of R&D Programs. You will drive new product development initiatives from concept through manufacturing launch in an environment of evolving priorities and accelerated growth. This role demands a proactive change agent who can lead our engineering team through this cultural and strategic transformation.
Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Manage multiple engineering projects in a fast-paced, shifting environment.
- Documentation & Planning: Develop and maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, resource planning, and task scheduling.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Production, and other teams to ensure smooth transitions from development to production.
- Strategic Initiatives: Track project requests, prepare business cases, and drive process improvements to support our move toward innovative, design-focused solutions.
- Hands-On Involvement: Roll up your sleeves when necessary to overcome challenges and accelerate project delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Project Management, or a related field.
- 5-7 years’ experience in engineering, R&D, or manufacturing environments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Demonstrated expertise in both agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
- Experience with project management tools (MS Project, YouTrack, Jira, Trello).
- PMP® Certification is a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Base Compensation: $120,000-$140,000 is the projected range of annual base salary for this role depending on the candidate’s overall qualifications and experience.
