Job Description
Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Process Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Maple Grove, MN. You will lead cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and support new product development and equipment integration.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $57/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Sr. Process Engineer job responsibilities include:
Lead cross-functional teams to support and improve manufacturing processes, ensuring alignment with quality, cost, and delivery goals.
Drive new product introduction (NPI) by scoping and implementing production lines, especially in cleanroom environments.
Develop and optimize manufacturing equipment and processes, including catheter development and industrial-scale production systems.
Apply Six Sigma and root cause analysis techniques to solve complex process issues and implement sustainable improvements.
Coordinate and manage capital equipment projects (CERAs) and ensure timely execution aligned with project milestones.
Mentor and provide technical direction to engineers, technicians, and operators to build team capability and ensure knowledge transfer.
Required Skills Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Materials Engineering (Electrical Engineering degrees not accepted).
5–7 years with a BS degree, or 3–6 years with an MS degree in a relevant engineering field.
Proven experience in medical device manufacturing, including catheter development and cleanroom operations.
Strong background in industrial manufacturing equipment and new product development processes.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $57.00 per hour
