Discipline Manager Drafting and Design (Transmission)

Volt is hiring a Remote Transmission Drafting and Design Manager, in Woodridge, Illinois with an industry leader in their field.
In this role you will act as the key internal and external contact for natural gas projects and program work of varying sizes.

As a Transmission Drafting and Design Manager you will be responsible to:

• Coordinate and complete projects on time, within budget, scope, and according to company and client quality and technical expectations.
• Have Leadership of Direct Reports
• Project Execution
• Team Performance/Fiduciary Tracking and Reporting
• Maintain Relationships with current clients, vendors, and agencies
• Team Resource Planning
• Contracts Responsibilities
• Proposal Preparation Support

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Strong understanding of all operating CAD platforms
• Understanding of Consulting KPIs and Business Acumen
• Be innovative and forward-thinking to drive change, quality, and efficiency within the company
• Strong technical knowledge of Natural Gas Design and related Codes as well as the discipline you lead
• Strong work ethic, sense of urgency, self-driven and a desire to work in a production environment
• Able to work independently and effectively in a remote setting
• Strong written and spoken communication skills

This is a full-time, DIRECT HIRE opportunity.

Salary:  $104K – 166K annually 

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
