Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based opportunity is available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one behavior support in an elementary school setting, located in Kent, WA. This contract position offers engagement throughout the school year, focusing on supporting students with behavioral needs to enhance their educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized 1:1 behavior intervention and support services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Implement behavior plans and data collection protocols accurately and consistently.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and staff to integrate behavior strategies within the classroom environment.
  • Monitor progress and provide ongoing feedback to supervisory staff for program adjustments.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards related to student information and care.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
  • Experience working with children in school settings is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to remain patient, empathetic, and adaptable in various situations.
