Schools - Occupational Therapist

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide essential support in a K-12 school setting. This role is focused on serving students during the fall semester of 2025, addressing the needs of those requiring therapeutic interventions due to a leave of absence.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals
• Knowledge of IEPs and related documentation processes
• Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment

Location:

• Corona, CA

Responsibilities:

• Assess student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic activities to enhance students' physical and emotional well-being
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure comprehensive support for each student
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment outcomes
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP discussions as required
• Provide guidance and support to school staff regarding students therapeutic needs
