Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our Enterprise Data and Analytics team in Columbus, Ohio. This is a long-term contract position where you will apply your expertise in advanced analytics and machine learning to uncover meaningful insights and contribute to strategic decision-making processes. By leveraging cutting-edge tools and data-driven methodologies, you will play a key role in helping us better understand our customers and achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities:
• Design and implement advanced analytical models to extract actionable insights from large and complex datasets.
• Conduct large-scale experiments and develop predictive models to address business challenges.
• Research and apply state-of-the-art techniques in machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence.
• Define and refine requirements for training and evolving machine learning models and algorithms.
• Present data-driven recommendations to influence product teams and organizational strategies.
• Advocate for and implement best practices in analytics within cross-functional teams.
• Oversee the end-to-end model development process, including data sourcing, model selection, result presentation, and production deployment.
• Develop and maintain the organization's data infrastructure to support analytics and reporting.
• Create detailed reports and dashboards to assist senior leadership in decision-making processes.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and tools in data science to enhance team capabilities.

• Strong expertise in machine learning techniques and data analytics tools.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R, SAS, as well as machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow and scikit-learn.

• Solid understanding of statistical methods including Bayesian networks, regression analysis, and hierarchical modeling.

• Experience working with both structured and unstructured data sources.

• Ability to communicate complex analytical results to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments while meeting deadlines.

• Familiarity with cloud-based machine learning platforms, such as AWS SageMaker.

• Background in financial services or similar industries is preferred.
