Travel RN – Outpatient Hematology | Days | Monday–Friday | Columbus, OH

Join a nationally recognized academic medical center as a Travel Registered Nurse in Outpatient Hematology! This is an excellent opportunity for an RN with oncology or hematology experience looking for a consistent day shift schedule with no weekends or call while working alongside a highly specialized team.

Schedule\n

\n
• Day Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
\n
• Monday–Friday
\n
• No weekends
\n
• No call
\n

What You'll Do\n

Provide compassionate, specialized care for adult hematology patients, including:

\n

\n
• Patients with multiple myeloma, chronic leukemia, and lymphoma
\n
• Pre- and post-BMT/CAR-T transplant patients
\n
• Chemotherapy administration
\n
• Blood transfusions
\n
• IV antibiotics
\n
• Oncology emergency management
\n
• Infection prevention and fall prevention initiatives
\n

\n

You'll also perform:

\n

\n
• Peripheral and central line blood draws
\n
• IV starts
\n
• PICC and port access/management
\n
• Central line care and dressing changes
\n
• EKGs
\n
• Injections and immunizations
\n
• Patient education and telephone triage
\n

Required Skills\n

\n
• Peripheral IV insertion
\n
• Venipuncture/phlebotomy
\n
• Blood product administration
\n
• PICC line and central line management
\n
• Mediport access and care
\n
• Epic EMR experience preferred
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio license required at submission)
\n
• BLS Certification
\n
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
\n
• Previous travel experience required
\n
• Experience caring for adult hematology/oncology patients preferred
\n
