Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for an Occupational Therapist in Stockton, California. This is a full-time permanent position with competitive salary, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitative and restorative care to medically complex and aging patients. The Occupational Therapist will deliver services in both clinic and in-home settings, working as a key member of an interdisciplinary care team. This role focuses on maximizing patient safety, independence, and quality of life.

Position Details:

  • Job Title: Occupational Therapist

  • Location: Stockton, California

  • Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday

  • Employment Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments to determine patient needs, goals, and level of function

  • Deliver and document therapeutic interventions including perceptual-motor training, cognitive function support, ADL re-education, balance, endurance training, and use of adaptive equipment

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and update individualized care plans

  • Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, including training and guidance on Functional Maintenance Programs (FMPs)

  • Educate caregivers, patients, and staff on therapy techniques and use of assistive devices

  • Support smooth transitions of care between home, hospital, and facility settings

  • Participate in end-of-life care planning and support when needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA/ACOTE-accredited program (Master's preferred)

  • Minimum of two (2) years of clinical Occupational Therapy experience with elderly or medically complex populations

  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred

  • Registered with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)

  • Active California OT license or eligibility for licensure

  • CPR certification preferred
