Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for an Occupational Therapist in Stockton, California. This is a full-time permanent position with competitive salary, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitative and restorative care to medically complex and aging patients. The Occupational Therapist will deliver services in both clinic and in-home settings, working as a key member of an interdisciplinary care team. This role focuses on maximizing patient safety, independence, and quality of life.

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments to determine patient needs, goals, and level of function
Deliver and document therapeutic interventions including perceptual-motor training, cognitive function support, ADL re-education, balance, endurance training, and use of adaptive equipment
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and update individualized care plans
Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, including training and guidance on Functional Maintenance Programs (FMPs)
Educate caregivers, patients, and staff on therapy techniques and use of assistive devices
Support smooth transitions of care between home, hospital, and facility settings
Participate in end-of-life care planning and support when needed
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA/ACOTE-accredited program (Master's preferred)
Minimum of two (2) years of clinical Occupational Therapy experience with elderly or medically complex populations
Two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred
Registered with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
Active California OT license or eligibility for licensure
CPR certification preferred
