CSR Technician II

Summary: Responsible for distribution and storage of materials delivered to the operating room (OR) inventory. Assemblies OR case carts per physician preference lists, replenish crash carts and intubation boxes, and manage the stock for common sets. Education: In addition to the skills normally obtained through completion of a High School education, good math skills and some knowledge of computers is helpful. Licensure: Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or related job experience preferred. Experience: One year in a similar environment w/ three months on the job training (or) 9 to 12 months on the job training to be proficient. An understanding of the use/purpose of medical supplies and equipment is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills are required.
