Blend Center Technician

Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Paint Blend Center Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing, mixing, and matching paint formulas according to specifications, ensuring consistent quality and color accuracy for production or customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mix and match paint colors using computerized systems and manual techniques.
• Operate and maintain blending equipment and tools.
• Follow precise formulas and adjust mixtures to achieve desired color and consistency.
• Maintain accurate records of paint batches and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with production and quality control teams to meet project timelines.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of blending center equipment.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in paint coatings is a plus.
• 1+ year of experience in paint mixing, blending, or a related field (automotive, industrial, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and color perception.
• Familiarity with paint mixing software and equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and hazardous material handling.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with automotive or industrial coatings.
• Forklift certification.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, inventory systems).
