Responsible for superior customer service in providing information to callers and directing calls to the appropriate personnel. This involves processing internal and external calls through an integrated computer telephone system, utilization of department nutrition software and communication applications. Position is responsible to help patients order through receiving room service calls and proactively reaching out to patients. Hospital personnel, and patient, calls should be handled with superior customer service, answering nutrition-based questions within scope, and relaying information to appropriate staff members; verbally and/or electronically.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be preferred. 1 year of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
