Job Description
Under general supervision, directs wait staff for banquets and buffets, ensuring that customer needs are met; assigns tasks and monitors progress to ensure proper setup of banquet rooms and completion of all advanced preparations; ensures that all customer needs are met during banquets; oversees service; communicates needs to kitchen staff; monitors completion of post-banquet work including clean-up; trains new serving staff.
Minimum Required Qualifications
High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred. 2 years of relevant experience required. 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred. At least 3 years banquet wait service experience required; wait service in a restaurant setting
Desired Qualifications
Previous supervisory experience or work experience in a leadership role desired.
