Summary
This is a high-impact opportunity for a skilled Process Engineer with a background in plastics and injection molding. In this role, you'll lead efficiency initiatives, manage capital projects, and support continuous improvement across multiple manufacturing facilities. Ideal for a hands-on engineer who thrives in dynamic environments, this position offers both technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration across production, quality, and maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities
Drive process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and throughput in manufacturing operations
Lead capital projects, including scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and execution
Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Total Quality Management (TQM) methodologies to solve operational challenges
Conduct root cause analyses and lead corrective action implementation
Collaborate closely with production, maintenance, and quality departments
Develop and maintain process documentation and conduct training sessions for plant teams
Provide technical support and leadership for plastics and injection molding operations across multiple sites
Ensure ongoing compliance with safety and operational standards
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience
4–7 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering roles
Required: Plastics industry background and hands-on injection molding experience
Required: Experience managing capital projects within a plant setting
Preferred: Familiarity with extrusion systems, plastic processing equipment, and mechanical systems
Experience training operators or technicians is a plus
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Willing and able to travel up to 60%
