Job Summary: The CT technologist is responsible for performing CT procedures while demonstrating professionalism and service excellence. Key responsibilities include obtaining necessary medical supplies, maintaining sterility, preparing requisitions, and communicating effectively with patients and families to alleviate anxiety while ensuring privacy and dignity. The technologist adheres to HIPAA regulations, verifies patient identification, observes patient conditions, and reports changes to nursing staff and radiologists. Additional duties include maintaining supplies, cleaning equipment, coordinating workflow, and ensuring patient safety during procedures. The technologist also performs venipuncture, adheres to QA/QC requirements, and promptly processes and verifies images in PACS/RIS systems for emergency cases.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from a School of Radiography or College-based Radiography program
• ARRT RT (R) certification
• ARRT RT (CT) certification
• NJDEP – New Jersey State X-Ray License
• BLS Certification
