Job Summary:

The CT technologist will demonstrate professionalism and service excellence while performing tasks such as obtaining necessary medical, surgical, and radiological supplies, maintaining sterility, preparing requisitions, and communicating with patients and families to alleviate anxiety. Responsibilities include verifying patient identification, observing patient conditions, ensuring availability of medical records, maintaining supplies, cleaning equipment, and adhering to HIPAA regulations. The technologist will also assist in emergency responses, triage procedures, and workflow coordination, ensuring patient safety and efficient operations. Additional duties include performing venipuncture, maintaining QA/QC requirements, and notifying radiologists of unusual findings or urgent cases.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from a School of Radiography or College-based Radiography program
• ARRT RT (R) certification
• ARRT RT (CT) certification
• NJDEP – New Jersey State X-Ray License
• BLS Certification
