Job Summary:

The Mammography Technician will perform routine screening and diagnostic mammography, ensuring competency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique factors. Responsibilities include labeling radiographic images per department SOP, evaluating images for technical acceptability, transmitting images to PACS in a timely manner, completing studies in IDX, and accurately recording patient tracking information in the tracking system. The technician is expected to work effectively and efficiently while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• New York State License of Diagnostic Radiography
• Registered with ARRT
• Maintain MQSA requirements
