Job Details

Orientation twice monthly at Duke Lifepoint Hospital with 355 beds.
Home to Frye Regional Brain Center, Cancer Center, Heart Center, Lung Center, Orthopedics, General & Vascular Surgery, Surgical Weight Loss, Women's Center, and Level 3 NICU.
Facility includes a 32 bed Emergency Department, 29 bed inpatient rehab, 15 bed surgical suite & imaging.
Frye South Campus includes an 81 bed adult Behavioral Health Hospital.
Position is for RN in Telemetry department with a specialty in Cardiac care.
Role involves caring for generalized cardiac patients ranging from young adult to elderly adult.
Common diagnoses and treatments include Chest Pain, A-fib, CHF, pre & post care for cardiac caths (groin & radial), and VATS.
Equipment used includes Life Paks, Zoll, Masimo, and Cerner EHR.
Patient ratio is 4:1 with 24 beds in the unit.
Shift is day and afternoon with 36 guaranteed weekly hours and every other weekend work.
May occasionally float to IMCU, NPCU, and/or Surgical units.
