RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The position requires the use of computers, but not extensively hence basic computer knowledge is sufficient The primary role for this position is aliquoting urine samples.
- Remove presumptive positives, aliquot for confirmation, arrange aliquots in order.
- Store positive samples in refrigerator/freezer area.
- Remove positives samples from freezer for re-aliquot. Receive and open specimens delivered to the laboratory for analysis.
- Review and document acceptability of specimen and chain of custody forms.
- Destroy specimens; as needed.
- Clean and maintain work area daily.
- Adhere to all security procedures for ensuring confidentiality of donor information.
- Must comply with company policy.
