Are you a CPA with a passion for grant accounting and a desire to make an impact? Our client, a mission-driven organization with a reputation for excellence and a strong community presence, is seeking a Senior Grant Accountant to join their dynamic team!

In this fully in-office role, you'll play a key part in managing and reporting on complex grant portfolios, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and supporting program leaders in making data-informed decisions.

 What You'll Do:

• Lead the accounting and financial reporting for all grants, including government, private, and foundation sources

• Ensure compliance with grant terms, federal regulations (such as Uniform Guidance), and internal controls

• Prepare and submit accurate and timely grant billings, financial reports, and budget modifications

• Collaborate with program staff to monitor budgets, track spending, and ensure funds are utilized effectively

• Support audits and assist in the preparation of schedules and documentation related to grant activity

• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen grant reporting and compliance

✅ What We're Looking For:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in grant or fund accounting

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and federal grant compliance (e.g., 2 CFR Part 200)

• Detail-oriented, analytical, and a great communicator with a collaborative mindset
