Luminex, one of the largest Global Home Fragrance & Candle Companies, is seeking a talented and outgoing individual to join our Candle-lite Team as a Sales Coordinator, focused on supporting and managing the day-to-day activities for the Field Sales organization. This is a fast-paced role that interacts closely with Sales, Sales Reps, Marketing, Product Development, Operations, Customer Service, Transportation, IT and key retail partners. As a key member of our US Sales team, you will report to the Director of Sales and be a critical partner in driving our retail business forward while ensuring flawless execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Administration

  • This role will be the key support function for all day-to-day activities for the Field Sales Organization and the liaison between various cross-functional teams and the Sales Reps.
  • Excess inventory management: updating monthly spreadsheet to include pictures and tracking orders received
  • Price Quote Authorizations (PQAs): completing and entering into JDE
  • Completing and submitting New Project Requests (NPRs)
  • Customer portal management and setup
  • Customer item setup
  • Sales sample requests: submit to Customer Service & track shipments
  • Maintain the "flashlite" extranet site for Sales Reps
  • Coordinate cross-functional planning for the National Sales Meeting (1x annually)

Conflict Resolution

  • Liaison between internal departments regarding issue management and resolution
  • Collaborate with internal departments when order issues arise and determine corrective actions

Customer Compliance

  • Working with internal teams ensures all customer contracts are updated as needed.
  • Partner with Sales & Finance to ensure that customer deductions/spending are within outlined parameters

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree highly preferred; or HS diploma/GED and 10 years’ experience
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build internal and external relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, and proficiency with MS office, key customer portals, JDE, 1WorldSync, and ability to learn internal systems
