Job Description

Children’s Home Society of WV is seeking a Wraparound Facilitator in our Safe at Home Program at our Parkersburg location. Our Safe at Home initiative supports family members and caregivers in developing and maintaining a safe, stable, and caring environment for children 12-17 years old. Wraparound Facilitators coordinate family activities and help key adults in the child’s life work together so that their kids are able to thrive. Wraparound services are provided to meet the individual needs of each youth and their families. We believe that if targeted and comprehensive community services are provided to support youth and their families, we can help keep families together, reunify ones that have split apart, and enable kids to stay in their communities.

Responsibilities of the position include managing up to 10 youth/family cases, intensively engaging and meeting with youth, their families, and the wraparound team; facilitating family team meetings; arranging for services and supports as outlined on the wraparound plan; and advocating for the youth and family, as necessary.

This position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a human service field and two years post-graduate experience working with youth and families. Additional requirements include excellent verbal and written communication skills; commitment to working with older youth and their families; willingness to collaborate with family members and professionals; ability to manage a flexible schedule that meets the needs of the family; reliable transportation; valid driver’s license and automobile insurance; criminal background and child/adult abuse registry checks.

Children's Home Society of WV is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
