Amity Dentistry is a growing private dental practice in Pineville, NC, where we value compassionate care, teamwork, and a drama-free work environment. We are currently seeking a Certified Dental Assistant II who is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

This is currently a part-time position, but we plan to transition you to full-time within six months as our patient volume increases.
What We’re Looking For:
- Certified Dental Assistant II from an ADA-accredited program
- Valid NC Radiography Certification
- CPR, Coronal Polishing, and Nitrous Oxide certified
- Minimum 2 years of chairside assisting experience
- Proficient in Open Dental software
- Experience with digital radiography, intraoral scanning, and CBCT
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
- A calm, caring demeanor and ability to build strong patient rapport
- Willingness to help at the front desk when needed
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates are encouraged to apply, but not required
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist in all aspects of general dentistry, including surgical and implant procedures
- Take and chart vital signs, maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Take high-quality X-rays, digital scans (iTero), CBCTs, and intraoral photos
- Take impressions, bite registrations, soft denture relines, fabricate temporary crowns/bridges, and pack cords
- Place rubber dams, make bleaching trays, pour/trim models
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilize instruments
- Educate patients on procedures and post-operative care
- Prepare for and assist with same-day treatment whenever possible
- Maintain inventory, order supplies, and manage lab case tracker
- Keep operatories stocked, clean, and organized
