Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Two positions available for dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) to provide valuable services in a K-12 school setting located in Hayesville, NC. One position will focus on a K-12 caseload, while the second will cater to preschool and elementary students. Onsite presence is preferred, but virtual contracting options are being considered.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP-CCC certification
- Experience with SLP-Teletherapy methods
- Specialization in school-based settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and assess student needs
Location:
- Hayesville, NC
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with identified needs
- Conduct assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers and other educational staff to support student goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress
- Offer guidance to parents and caregivers regarding speech and language development
- Stay informed about best practices and developments in the field of speech therapy
