Outpatient Neurology (high priority)

1. Hospital employed position
2. CME:  5 days, $5,000
3. PTO:  224 hours annually
4. Loan repayment available
5. Open on fellowship training
6. Experienced or new grad
7. EEGs and EMGs testing capability preferred
8. Willing to sponsor a visa
9. 4 exam rooms, 1.5 clinical assistance
10. Use Neurohospitalist for inpatient
11. See 20 – 22 patients per day
12. 3-4 month back log for new patient visits
13. EMR: Athena
14. On-site lab
15. Office in POB connected to Providence Hospital
16. 8:30 – 5:30
17. Physician retiring, step into business
18. Seasoned staff
19. Good relationships with the Neurohospitalist
20. Robust primary care network referring to practice

 

Neurohospitalist

1. Hospital employed position
2. CME:  5 days, $5,000
3. PTO:  224 hours annually
4. Loan repayment available
5. Open on fellowship training
6. Experienced or new grad
7. EEG training preferred
8. Willing to sponsor a visa
9. Schedule: 70/7O
10. EMR:  Cerner
11. See 12 – 16 patients per day
12. Teleneurology out of Pensacola, no need to respond to strokes in ER
13. Work schedule amongst selves: flexibility
14. Volume of patients is low
15. Do not respond to strokes in ER
16. Hospital has all specialists on staff and respond to consults
17. Well trained nursing staff: very appropriate call from nursing staff
