• Specialized peds cardiac anesthesia practice — typically 1 surgical case per day
• Also covers Cath/EP lab and cardiac imaging
• Standalone children's hospital
• Open to any state license (WA obtained during credentialing)
Assignment Details
• Start: ASAP, ongoing
• Schedule: Scheduled clinical hours + call
• Call: Beeper, 30-minute response, 1:2 ratio, ~3-4 patients per call period
• Volume: typically 1 surgery patient/day, plus Cath/EP lab and cardiac imaging support
• Setting: Inpatient, 22 beds
• EMR: Epic
• Credentialing: ~120 days
• Nearest airport: SeaTac
Clinical Details
• Pediatric cardiac anesthesia
• Required: pediatric general anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, open heart anesthesia, central and arterial line placement
• Cath/EP lab and cardiac imaging coverage
Requirements
• Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• Fellowship trained (required)
• License: open to any state
• ABLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS
Compensation
• Rate negotiable, open to your number
• Malpractice provided
