Job Summary: The psychiatrist is given extensive independent judgment in reviewing medical information and providing expert opinions about the diagnosis and treatment of mental health patients.

Job Responsibilities:

• The Child Psychiatrist treats mental, emotional, and behavioral issues in children.
• Reporting to the Director of Behavioral Health.
• Diagnose and manage affective, thought, personality, developmental, and anxiety disorders.
• Examines, evaluates, diagnoses, and treats psychiatric disorders.
• Reviews case histories and verifies diagnosis of psychiatric disorders.

Job Requirements:

• MD or DO and completion of psychiatry residency training program.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible are accepted.
• Must be licensed in the State of TX.
• Spanish is highly desired.
