• Specialty: OB/GYN Academic Hospitalist
• Practice Type: Full-time or part-time hospital-employed position
• Clinical Scope:
- 12-hour inpatient shifts with flexibility on the number of shifts per month - Maintain GYN skills, including major and minor procedures - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including certified nurse midwives, Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists, and nocturnist physicians - Support academic OB service, uncovered OB and GYN patients, and coverage for community-based clinics and residency outpatient practices
• Academic Involvement:
- Serve as Core Faculty, providing primary teaching and supervision for residents and medical students - Opportunity for clinical and basic science research - Academic appointment available through Michigan State University as an Assistant Professor Highlights

Qualifications
• Board Certified in OB/GYN
• Medical Degree (MD/DO) with licensure in Michigan upon hire
• DEA Registration in Michigan upon hire
• Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 120 days of hire (AHA or ARC accepted) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) if required by specialty Community Details
