Position Highlights

• Annual ED volume of approximately 35,000 visits
• 17-bed Emergency Department with dedicated Fast Track
• Daily patient census of 80 to 120 patients
• Admission rate of 13 percent
• Physician coverage of 36 hours daily with 12-hour shifts
• APP coverage of 36 hours daily providing strong team support
• Overlapping coverage model to optimize patient flow and care delivery
• EMR system: MediTech

Qualifications

• ABEM Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications
• Active Louisiana medical license and DEA or ability to obtain
