OBGYN opening in ArkansasJonesboro, ARFull timeAbout the Position: Provide inpatient obstetric care to unassigned OB patients presenting to Labor & Delivery or the Emergency Department.Assist private practice physicians with emergent situations or requested deliveries.Offer backup and consultative support to the Family Medicine Residency program.Manage inpatient GYN consults and provide timely, high-quality assessment and treatment.Participate as a physician leader in safety, quality initiatives, and performance improvement projects.Engage in academic and teaching opportunities, supporting residents and learners as appropriate.Schedule7–8 shifts per 28-day schedule24-hour in-house coverage per shiftAbout the Facility457 bed community hospital with 13 Labor-Delivery-Recovery rooms, 3 observation rooms, and 2 ORs on L&D 19-bed Level 3A NICU Approximately 1,845 deliveries per year Family Medicine Residency Program with an active obstetrical service Supported by Nurse Practitioners on nights and when residents are not on service
