Permanent Physician – OB/GYN

Shift: Days (Monday–Friday clinic/surgery) + On call

• Patient Population: Obstetrics and Gynecology (low-risk and high-risk pregnancy)
• Setting: Inpatient and outpatient hospital/clinic
• Responsibilities: Provide inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN services including deliveries, surgeries, clinic visits, and call coverage
• Required Procedures: Fetal monitoring; FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE); OB ultrasounds (performance and interpretation); routine vaginal deliveries; forceps delivery; C-section decision-making and procedures; breech/multiple births/VBACs; repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations; office/minor GYN procedures (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP); laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures; operative/major gynecologic surgeries including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOAs
• EMR System: Cerner
• Support Staff: OB/GYN physicians, APPs, seasoned RNs, and clinic/hospital support staff
• Days Per Month: Full-time schedule
• On-Call/Weekends: Choice of on-call options (to be discussed at interview)

Submission Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
• Illinois license (or willing to obtain)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification
• NPDB Self Query (within 30 days)
• State experience with required OB/GYN conditions and procedures
• Clean malpractice history preferred
• Must not require visa support
