This is a unique opportunity to build and shape a neurology service line while providing high-quality, accessible care to patients in the Jefferson City region.Clinical Responsibilities:As our General Neurologist, you will: Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of neurological conditions, including: Headaches and migraines Sleep disorders Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Epilepsy and seizure disorders Stroke and cerebrovascular conditions Movement disorders Neuropathies and other neurological diseases Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as: Electromyography (EMG) Electroencephalography (EEG) CT and MRI imaging Other specialized neurological assessments Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physical and occupational therapists, for coordinated, comprehensive care Provide consultation services to the emergency department and hospitalized patientsCommunity Impact:Currently, patients in the Jefferson City area often travel outside the community for specialized neurological care.
