Compensation: Starting Salary $225,000, increasing to $285,000 with a full panel, plus annual raises
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Outpatient Only, Minimal Call
A physician-led concierge primary care group is expanding into Mooeesville, NC area and is seeking two new Primary Care Physicians (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) to join the practice in early to mid-2026. This is an exceptional opportunity for a relationship-driven physician who values time with patients, continuity of care, and a highly supportive clinical environment.
Position OverviewPhysicians in this model provide comprehensive, prevention-focused primary care with 8–10 patients per day, allowing for unrushed visits and long-term patient relationships. Appointments are structured at 30/60/90 minutes, and each panel is capped at 450 patients to preserve quality and accessibility.
You’ll have a dedicated nurse, your own private office, two exam rooms, full administrative and clinical support, and no supervision of physician extenders. Call is minimal—one weeknight per quarter and shared weekend call, with no call while on vacation.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality, relationship-based primary care in an outpatient setting
Maintain a manageable daily schedule of 8–10 patients
Lead and manage your own patient panel
Utilize full clinical support including health coaching, referral coordination, practice management, and Athena EMR support
Collaborate with nutritionists, mental health specialists, integrative medicine, and exercise physiology resources
Document care accurately and efficiently
Participate in equal call rotation
Promote wellness, prevention, and patient education
Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
4.5 patient-facing days per week
0.5 day of protected administrative time
On call once per quarter, plus equal share of weekend call
No call while on vacation
Courtesy hospital privileges; no inpatient responsibility
No supervision of APPs
Starting salary: $225,000, increasing to $285,000 at full panel
Additional annual raises following full-panel achievement

Minimum of 5 years of primary care experience required
Strong commitment to relational, preventive, and patient-centered care
