Direct Counsel is representing an Am Law 100 firm seeking a Senior Associate or Of Counsel attorney to join its premier Business Litigation Practice Group in Atlanta. This nationally recognized team handles complex business disputes, class actions, trade secret cases, and high-stakes commercial litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of complex litigation from case intake through trial or resolution.

  • Lead strategy development, motion practice, depositions, hearings, discovery management, and client communication.

  • Independently handle high-level litigation tasks with minimal supervision.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements:

  • 6–10 years of experience in complex business or commercial litigation.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cases and litigation strategy.

  • Strong oral advocacy, legal writing, and analytical skills.

  • J.D. from a nationally ranked law school, with top 10% class ranking preferred.

  • Participation in law review, moot court, or trial team strongly preferred.

  • Admission to the Georgia Bar or eligibility for admission in the near future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience managing litigation matters independently or supervising junior associates.

  • Experience with class action defense and trade secret litigation a plus.
