Community Based Therapists Needed

Sunrise Health Clinics is seeking to hire Fully Licensed and/or State Licensed Interns for an Intensive Community Based Therapy Program.

Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, and Clinical Professional Counselors to work a small caseload and provide psychosocial assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning and services, discharge planning, and consultation to patients and families.

Responsibilities:

• You must be able to complete 32-40 hours/week. Due to the demand in hours, caseloads will be of about 5-6 families.
• Ability to work with ages 3-25 and their family units, emphasis on pre-teens/teens
• Provide psychosocial assessments of patients and families to identify emotional, social, and environmental strengths and problems related to their diagnosis, illness, treatment, and/or life situation.
• All assessments must include diagnostic appropriate screeners, such as PHQ-9/PHQ-A, GAD-7, ANSA/CANS, and PCL-5, and Level of Service Intensity, such as ECSII, CASII, or LOCUS.
• Formulate, develop, and implement a comprehensive psychosocial treatment plan utilizing appropriate treatment and interventions, including crisis intervention, brief and long-term individual, couple’s, family, and/or group therapy, as well as grief and bereavement work.
• Screen, identify, diagnose using DSM, treat and manage mental health and/or substance abuse problems in patients and family members.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary health care teams and provide leadership in representing clinical perspective/liaison with patient and family.
• Engage in appropriate mental health therapy for individual, couple’s, family, and/or groups as clinically indicated from assessment and treatment plan.
• Complete all clinical documentation within 24 hours of service to ensure up to date records and timely continuity of care.
• Attend and participate in staff, committee, department, and other administrative meetings.
• Participate in department, center, and/or health system continuous quality improvement efforts.
• Perform other duties assigned by the MST Program Director as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Active State of Nevada License for LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, CPC-Intern, CSW-Intern, MFT-Intern (REQUIRED)
• Must be enrolled or be eligible to be enrolled in the State of Nevada Medicaid Program
• Must be able to work with patients in crisis
• Positive attitude, good communication skills, team player with a variety of patients and staff
• Stable internet connection and reliable computer device for utilizing company-provided HIPAA compliant EHR system.
• Active Driver’s License
• Evening/Weekend Availability
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a Plus
• Current CPR Certification
• Negative TB test within 12 months, or Negative Chest X-Ray within 5 years
• Ability to work in the United States of America
• Ability to Read, Write, and Speak English Proficiently
• CANS and TBRI Certified (Will train & certify if needed)

Pay:

• $55. 00 per hour with a $300 a month Travel Allowance for full-time hours
