Production Operator

Located in Portland, ND

Production Operator - $20/hr - $24/hr

HOURS: Full-time

LOCATION: Portland, ND

REPORTS TO: Operations Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

Production operator is responsible for monitoring the process to ensure equipment is ran efficiently to produce a high-quality product. Responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary working environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintaining neat and organized production records.
2. Follow production SOPs and adhere to food plant GMPs in the workplace.
3. Follow the Food Safety Plan put in place by the A department to ensure high level of sanitation and food safety.
4. Loading and unloading trucks as needed.
5. Perform general housekeeping of all production areas.
6. Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
7. Assist maintenance department as needed.
8. All other duties assigned by management.

None

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Experience: None

Preferred Experience: Previous experience in a food environment.

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS:

1. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
2. Knowledge of Forklift safety and operation
3. Basic knowledge of all Microsoft office applications

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Special Certifications, Courses or other Training Required: Forklift Certified preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Regularly lifting of up to 50 Ibs.
2. Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
3. Able to work in hot/cold, dusty conditions.

OTHER RELEVANT JOB INFORMATION:

• Must be able to work overtime and on weekends, occasionally on short notice.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft office applications
