Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience and at least one prior travel assignment for a 13-week contract position.

Details\n

\n
• Interventional Radiology unit within an acute care hospital setting
\n
• Procedures include angioplasty, IVC filter placement and removal, fluoroscopy, and special procedures using Siemens equipment
\n
• Charting via Cerner
\n
• 5x8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential for 4x10-hour shifts
\n
• On-call is required Monday–Friday 4:00 PM–9:00 PM and Saturday–Sunday 9:00 AM–2:00 PM, rotating among 4 technologists
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
\n
• At least one prior travel assignment required
\n
• Active ARRT (R) certification required
\n
• ACLS certification required
\n
• Maryland state license required if applicable
\n
• ARRT (VI) certification preferred
\n
• Proficiency in IR skills including angioplasty, IVC filter placement/removal, fluoroscopy, Siemens equipment operation, sterile technique, and scrubbing to maintain a sterile field
\n
• Cerner charting experience
\n
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years
\n
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained
\n

• Orientation is held every Monday
\n
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
\n
• All time-off and scheduling requests should be disclosed upfront during the consideration process
