HPS Providr Contract Associate (75% Remote & 25% Onsite)

Summary This position is a Hybrid position which requires you to be 75% Remote and 25% Onsite. Summary Responsible for the negotiation and management of provider contracts for Health Plan Services. Recommends, coordinates and implements contracting initiatives that promote Health Plan Services products and the Parkview Health network of contracted providers. Education Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance or Healthcare related field preferred; or the equivalent of 8 years of additional experience in a comparable job. Licensure/Certification Must have a valid state issued driver's license. Experience Must have three to five years of comprehensive experience in managed health care field with experience that involves negotiating and writing contracts. Must be familiar with reading and understanding contract language Other Qualifications Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; Must be able to perform under tight deadlines, working in a fast paced environment, exhibiting solid negotiating and decision making skills. Must provide own transportation.
