Pay Range: $15.00 - $19.50p/pp/ppbuPOSITION SUMMARY:/u/b/ppThe Server has the responsibility to serve guests in an assigned station by providing courteous and efficient service that meets or exceeds guest’s dining expectations./pp/ppbuESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:/u/b/pullipSupports a strong commitment to world class guest service and ensures a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience for restaurant patrons./p/lilipCompletes training requirements and follows service standards as trained./p/lilipGreets guests promptly and courteously in assigned workstation./p/lilipUnderstands and executes established procedures for verifying guest’s ability to legally purchase and consume alcohol and knows how to prevent a guest from overindulging./p/lilipLearns all menus and can communicate all food and beverage offerings./p/lilipEffectively uses suggestive selling techniques./p/lilipRecords food and beverage orders, enters orders into computer system, monitors status of order preparation and safely transports order from kitchen to guest./p/lilipMonitors and addresses guest needs during meal./p/lilipCollects monies owed for food and beverages and properly performs all guest check accountability procedures./p/lilipPerforms tip declaration activities and compensates indirectly tipped associates, i.e., Bussers, Bartenders, Runners, as per established service procedures./p/lilipPerforms daily cleaning activities./p/lilipPerforms food running and station set-up / break-down responsibilities as assigned./p/lilipALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED./p/li/ulp/ppbuspanEXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:/span/u/b/pullipHigh school diploma/GED preferred./p/li/ulp/ppbuKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY/u/b/pullipExperience in and passion for consumer service/p/lilipWillingness to learn new skills and be a team player/p/lilipAn attitude of flexibility and mindfulness about the team approach/p/lilipLearn all menus and is able to communicate all food and beverage offerings/p/lilipClean and clear service areas/p/lilipFollow proper procedures as disclosed in Standard Operating Procedures as explained to staff/p/lilipAbility to memorize and become knowledgeable of menu items/p/li/ulpbuTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:/u/b/pullipN/A/p/li/ulp/ppbuPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:/u/b/pullipRegularly walks and stands./p/lilipOccasionally lifts up to 50lbs./p/li/ulp/ppbuINDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT/u/b:/pullipPspanerforms tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation.
