You will be preparing drinks for customers while creating a friendly and hospitable atmosphere. You are passionate about hospitality and specialize in beverage service and solo dining. Organized, calm, and friendly, you make a point to go above and beyond to make sure customers have exceptional experiences. /p pResponsibilities: /p ul liGreet all customers with a friendly smile; provide friendly, efficient, and personal service to each customer./li liTake food and drink orders; understand the food and beverage menu to articulate the best possible description and make appropriate recommendations to your guests./li liDemonstrate an in-depth understanding of liquor, wine and beer, including specialty drinks./li liAccurately and efficiently enter orders into POS system./li liClear and reset counters and tables at the conclusion of each guest visit./li liMaintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures. /li liPromote and support the restaurant’s overall philosophy./li liCommunicate with floor managers./li liMonitor food delivery and beverage service./li liKeep abreast of food menu and beverage changes during the service./li liAnticipate what the guests want and do not want./li liRead the guests and determine the correct approach./li liTake the extra step to turn good service into great service and make it an experience each guest will remember./li liAct as the ultimate host on the floor, always looking for ways to exceed the guests’ expectations./li liHandle banking for the station, always handling monies out of the guests’ view./li liControlling costs by:/li /ul ol liPouring drinks at proper levels/li liEnsuring all beverage items go on the guest check/li liLimiting waste/li liTaking accurate inventories/li /ol ul liOpening and closing the bar/li /ulh4Qualifications/h4brul liPrevious knowledge of food service regulations preferred /li liNevada Alcohol Awareness Certification/li liStrong customer service and interpersonal communications skills /li liAble to stand for long periods of time/li liAble to utilize quick thinking and apply quick resolution to guest issues in accordance with the brand standards/li liExcellent conflict resolution skills/li liAble to work in a fast-paced environment/li liFlexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays/li /ul
