Assist manager in completing daily reports. Maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices./p/div/divdiv style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"Job Responsibilities/H2 /divdivul liPrepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu/li liPrepare a daily report that verifies transactions/li liUnderstand what is inclusive of a meal/li liEnsure storage of food in an accurate and sanitary manner/li liServe food according to meal schedules, department policies and procedures/li liUse and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives/li liTimely preparation of a variety of food items, beverages, and/li liAdd garnishments to ensure customer happiness and eye appeal/li liCoordinate and assist in major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and cooking and serving equipment/li liAdhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation, food handling, and storage/li liAdhere to the uniform policy/li liConnect with the Manager daily to understand and accurately prepare menu for the day/li liSupervise the food temperature requirements/li liMaintain a clean and organized work and storage area/li liScrub and polish counters, clean and sanitize steam tables, and other equipment/li liFollow established procedures and standards for cleanliness, to ensure a balanced and safe environment; duties include sweeping, moping, ware washing/li liMaintain garbage collection site and kitchen floor areas in a neat and sanitary fashion/li liPerform other duties as assigned including other areas in the kitchen/li liThis role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
