Part-Time General Warehouse (Nights)

(S)he may use powered and unpowered equipment. /span/p pstrongspanEssential Duties: /span/strong/p ul lispanReading production labels, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, repacked, disposed, or distributed /span/li lispanConveying materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas /span/li lispanSorting and placing items on carts, pallets, shelves, racks, bins or boxes according to desired sequence /span/li lispanEnsuring materials are properly labeled /span/li lispanPerforming other duties as assigned to meet business needs/span/li /ul pstrongspanQualifications: /span/strong/p ul lispanThree months or more related experience preferred /span/li lispanPallet jack and picking experience a plus /span/li lispanMust be able to work in various temperature-controlled zones ranging from -5 F to ambient temperature/span/li lispanFluency in English; ability to communicate when necessary to complete duties; read and write/span/li lispanMust be available to work with the demands of the department which are regular overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays /span/li /ul pstrongspanPhysical Demands:/span/strong/p ul lispanRegularly standing and walking/span/li lispanAbility to reach and handle objects, tools, or controls./span/li lispanSitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling/span/li lispanRegularly lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds. /span/li lispanFrequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds/span/li lispanOccasionally lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds/span/li /ul pstrongspanCorporate Summary/span/strong/p pspanAt Shamrock Foods Company, people come first – our associates, our customers, and the families we serve across the nation.
